Indira Eskieva is a media and communications specialist with a background in journalism and public service, and a heart for advocacy.
Passionate about storytelling, advocacy, and community impact, I've honed my skills in the news industry and excel at using strategic narratives to transform brands and engage audiences.
After graduating summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I launched my journalism career at CN2 News, where I quickly advanced from intern to senior reporter, building a strong foundation in journalism and broadcasting. I later led WRAL-TV’s Eastern North Carolina bureau, turning a temporary role into a permanent one with impactful coverage. As the South Carolina bureau reporter at WCNC-TV, I played a role in making the 6 pm newscast the second most popular in the market.
Now, as Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at a public community college, I lead a team in executing cross-channel strategies. Key achievements include a website redesign, targeted recruitment campaigns, and a 60th-anniversary celebration featuring a new mascot and a 500-attendee event. These initiatives have driven a 5% increase in enrollment and earned national recognition.
Known for delivering results, building trust, and driving growth, I am committed to making a meaningful impact on a global scale through my work.
